I stumbled across it by accident and i spent a solid hour enjoying it. In planning this trip I was specifically looking forward to visiting and it was a disappointment. This is a very cool idea utilizing basically airspace over a major freeway. Surprisingly quite, and well manicured and during the summer weekends, you can usually catch a free concert. The drawback is the city lets in it's far left thinking, allow people to use it as a bedroom and worse, a bathroom. This is also not a place to be at night as again, the city does not police this area.

I went to this park while it was raining. It is not exactly ideal for cloudy or gloomy weathers. The concrete slab by itself is already dark in color, although it has interesting form, the overall atmosphere is rather sad and somewhat scary.
But I did enjoy the park's design. Interesting but needs some TLC. This park was probably quite impressive at one time, but now the fountains no longer run, and the pools of water are strewn with trash.
Still, the contemporary concrete pillars and walls are interesting. The trees and flowers are still lovely and lush, and the park is a quiet space to wander away from the crowds. And it's free. Looks like the city has allocated funds to do some refurbishing, so hopefully this park will once again be a showpiece. Alec D Seattle, WA 2, contributions. Truly unique park in the middle of Seattle. This is a park hidden in plain sight. It is located over I 5 and right next to the convention center.
